Re: Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
Does anybody know the current figure of West Ham United fans, currently banned by the Duchess of Knightsbridge and the TWO BOB Daves?

Publishing the ongoing number as more and more get life bans will be an embarrassment to Duchess of Knightsbridge and the TWO BOB Daves.

This is the best way to go.

Credit to the ones that tried yesterday, but the club will have been watching this and the other threads closely and would have been fully aware of the plan to congregate before the game and would have been ready to stop anyone with banners.

The Club has no control over protests or banners at away games.

Eindhoven - whilst everyone that agrees with your actions would be interested to hear what happened, I'd be reluctant to post too much information on here, especially if you are looking to contest it, which I hope you will.

It's on here Gank:

http://www.claretandhugh.info

Whetstone done fuck all to help spread the word but seems to be lapping up that it didn't take off. Hopefully next time we can get loads more on board but more have to get the word out there.

Starting with the away fans is a decent idea.

Are flags/banners actually banned then?

What's the banner story?

The board are ruining this club on and off the field, nothing will change while they remain. They can't ban 35000 for singing sack the board.

The other 20,000 will be sat down eating popcorn and don't care enough to want change.

Think there is such a level of apathy over there these days that any protest is going to be hard to get off the ground.

All the various fans forums and social networks need to get totally involved for it to even stand a chance of working

Was one of those heavily involved in the "brown out" campaign and personally I think the best way to start the ball rolling is at away games as the support is a lot more vocal and you are in one smaller section of a ground.

Know EH and the bloke has probably spent a small fortune in miles/money and time watching West Ham like many of us have .Hope sense prevails and he isn't banned

There was flags and banners Huffers. Unfortunately having them has resulted in bans.

Something needs to happen though.

Bom Stickle,

RE: "This will be the easiest and cheapest protest to organise with the large numbers involved and will look very effective on TV with a completely empty home section at kick off and will hopefully get the message across for the club and stadium operators to work with us not against."

10 minutes late to the seat, ten minutes early out both halves. Yesterday the stadium emptied so quickly, it was noted on the radio, so there was a ripple effect...

There has to be a persistence on this and the momentum will grow. Also at half time, by clogging up the queues at half time, by getting one item at a time, might also make a difference. Buy a drink at one kiosk, buy a pie at another kiosk...

Re: Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
I don't understand how anyone thought that a walk in after 5 minutes would get noticed unless they had flags/banners etc or congregated below the board. People were still walking in after 20 minutes but they were just late for whatever reason. Hopefully something more effective can happen.

I see the snake claretandhugh are quick enough to report the failure of the protest, weren't very quick about reporting it beforehand were they!

FCJ, if my country was run by a dictatorship contrary to my beliefs, I'd fight it.

We have a regime in place seemingly targeting traditional support and those not buying into club propaganda.

I've tweeted Eindhoven Hammers son offering to display the flag at the next home game as I'm not fussed about being banned and if I do get a ban, I'll fight it.

It's not a club anymore, it's a company. As such it doesn't give a shit about it's members and is only interested in peddling as much of it's sub standard foreign product as it can through snazzy marketing.

It is not going to change and protests IMO are going to have little impact. Lets face it most of us have much bigger issues in our lives and going to football is supposed to be a release from that not adding to it.

Could we not club together for a few thousands photocopies explaining the problems and protest, and then hand these out on the bridges leading to the stadium?

Block the team buses when they arrive like the man u game but don't damage them!
Kick off will get delayed and we will get the media coverage!
From what I've seen there's only one road leading to the gates where the coaches go in.

Re: Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
To be honest B6NY I thought the snatch squads in 127 was fucking disgusting and fans should have been up in arms about it, especially as the fans targeted were moved from the best section in the stadium against their will.

The best time to protest is when people are fucked off so there is no better time than now but some of the cunt fans we have on board simply ain't going to get involved. We need 1,000's on board to make a difference.

To be honest I think our fans have gone soft.

bom, messaged EH's son, about the flag.

Get on the FSF Twitter, get it in the pubic eye, be relentless.

Only way. Chelsea home got some much coverage, banning people for an 'opinionated' banner is worse than anything that happened that night.

Never give up after one game, persistence and media are key.

Well done
